More on the CCP
The CCP thus permits highly specific searches the exploit the properties of five entities (including ‘language’ and ‘sentence’). For example, one can search for all the languages that have subjunctive clause types (as defined in the Database Property Attribution Guide), or all of the clause types that are non-finite, or all of the Lubukusu sentences that have psych predicates, or all of the predicate types that take raising infinitive complements language internally or cross-linguistically or that presuppose the truth of their clausal complement, or one can search for all of the languages that have C-types (complementizers) that can occur with a given predicate type or that are based on a morpheme meaning ‘say’.
